The development of new facilities and attractions will help to create a new sense of pride, interest and energy in the town. It will also encourage people to spend more of their time and money within the local economy and prevent our residents having to travel outside of the District to access recreational facilities. The project will benefit both new and existing businesses, help to extend the main tourist season and provide increased year-round employment opportunities for our local residents.
