LESA is now keen to explore the opportunities for further expanding its operations. As such, the organisation has commissioned an options investigation project that will examine and propose opportunities for the future expansion of the existing sports provision in the area.
The views of local residents and extreme sports enthusiasts are central to the review of these opportunities and a consultation day is therefore being organised to encourage people to have their say on the development potential and opportunities.
The consultation day will take place at the X-Site Skate Park, Skegness on Saturday 17th January 2009 between 12pm and 5pm. For those not able to attend the event, but still keen to get involved, comments can be made via telephone (0800 169 5549), email (xsite.consult@strategicleisure.co.uk) or the X-Site Skate Park website (www.xsiteskatepark.co.uk).

The consultation is being managed by specialist leisure consultancy, Strategic Leisure, on behalf of LESA.

Come and have your say
“This consultation is an exciting opportunity for the community to get involved in the future development of X-Site Skate Park,” commented Nick Bray, X-Site Skate Park Manager and representative of Lincolnshire Extreme Sports Association. “We would encourage all those with an interest in the future of the Park to give us their views, opinions and ideas.
“The vision of LESA is to create a home for UK Extreme Sports on the East Coast of Lincolnshire. We’re keen to ensure that the local community have the opportunity to comment on our ambition and the future developments of X-Site Skate Park, which is why we have launched this consultation. Your views will help shape the future of the Park, so please take the time to let us know what they are”.
More information on the Skate Park can be found on the X-Site Skate Park website (www.xsiteskatepark.co.uk).
