Business support for micro enterprises

Aid is available both to help start new businesses and grow existing ones. A micro enterprise is defined as one that employs less than 10 people and with a turnover of less than €2m annually. Such enterprises may work in the following areas;

• manufacturing
• retailing (including the retailing of self-made products)
• equestrian
• recreation
• creative industries
• environmental services (including traditional trades required to enhance and maintain the landscape)
• renewable energy projects
